Dosanjh first worked on the hit series “Ishq Da Ada Ada” in 2004 with Funtone Cassettes, a division of the larger company T-Series. Funtone’s Rajinder Singh once helped Dosanjh learn about the Indian Punjabi music industry and recommended that he change his name to Diljit instead of Diljit. In 2004 he was shown the second series of the Dil.

However, Dosanjh emerged in 2009 with incredible acting skills in various authentic projects including Bhagat Singh “No Tension” and “Power of Duets” etc. That same year he gained millions of followers on social media by playing his best role on each album. In 2016 with “Udta Punjab”, Diljit Dosanjh made his first entry into Bollywood and won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor Debut. But he mainly collaborates with Whitehill Productions. He is also a judge on Rising Stars. In 2011, Dosanjh started acting in classic Punjabi movies. His first work, “Punjabi Sher,” was released in February 2011. Although the film was a sensation in the film industry, the theme “Luk 28 Kadi Da” in the film’s soundtrack was a great success.
